Blue Inferno, by Zeke Williams
Collection Twenty-Three: The limited-edition print Blue Inferno represents an artistic conversation that embodies the delicacy of nature yet transcends as a powerful force, acknowledging that much like a flower, the ocean is as delicate as it is powerful.
Derived from an original acrylic painting on canvas, representing abstract florals made from stencils and spray paint, the work Blue Inferno by Texas-based artist Zeke Williams underwent a digital metamorphosis. The delicate florals and spray paint splatter in Blue Inferno expose the use of spray paint as a reference to ocean spray and the ocean's turbulence, overlayed with the fragility of nature through floral abstraction.
Collection Twenty-Three acknowledges the delicacy of our oceanic ecosystem and will benefit Mission Blue, a global organization founded by legendary oceanographer Dr Sylvia Earle.
